Head of Public Sector Business (Sales Manager) Kickstarted business for AWS in Central America & the Caribbean from $0 to several $M ARR. Opened GT, CR, HN, PA, DR, JM, PR & the OECS for business. Leading head of state conversations, direct minister communications, with several documented successful Cloud transformations f.e.: Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria with the first serverless eInvoice in the world, Mass Migration of Secretaría de Integración Económica Centroamericana, Database Freedom for the Migration of Ministry of Finance Costa Rica, eJudicial System for the OECS, First VMWare Cloud deal in LATAM. Additionally I Headed Mexico as Interim when AWS we won project SENHA, one of the biggest LATAM Cloud contracts.

Oracle, Corp. 2014-2016

Systems Key Account Director

Telefónica in LATAM was a big customer for Oracle. Particularly, they owned a lot of Oracle Hardware, but, right from my start there was a steep challenge to regain a long lost customer trust in Mexico. I transformed the way the customer saw all of Oracle porfolios, positioning myself as the Go-To-Person of the entire organization for which Telefónica was grateful. Ranging from helping backing-up their Exadata, enabling bridges between local procurement and Spain, all the way to traveling personally to find specific trays they needed to receive equipment in their Data Centers. I helped actively Telefónica Empresas to build their Cloud business in several regions of LATAM.

IBM, Corp. 2012-2014

Public Sector Sales Manager

I joined the team with an objective to regain traction with the Public Sector Business for IBM Software. I led a Specialty team of IBM Software Specialties for the Non-Strategic government accounts in Mexico. Took care of highly visible NatSec deals, Social Programs, First-of-a-Kind Security Deals, net new logos, and spreaded the branding all the way from federal to SLG's. Sold back to PGR after almost 15 years.

Oracle in the winter of 2008

The eTalent program gave me a chance to use my technical skills to sky rocket adoption, showed eyebrow raising results and was given the opportunity to lead the company's incursion into the Hardware world for LATAM. Got to sell one of the HP + Oracle Hardware and welcomed the Sun Microsystems team.
I held the benchmark for world wide adoption of Exadata + Exalogic architectures.

How I work?

Simply, I'm passionate about technology, I can go in serious depth into the bits and bytes for several layers of technology.
I LOVE Serverless, Data and AI/ML.

My former, and actual employees have seen me roll up my sleeves into the field with them. My customers know I go in depth to fix their problems with care and precise solutions. I'll ask the same from my team. All-Team Certified.

Data

How incredible those 0's 1's and their superpositions are. How vast is the opportunity to generate and collect sequences. I'm devoted to understand in profoundness how data is generated and continously learning how to gather it.

Interpretation

Having data is just the beginning, I hanker after mechanisms to aggregate, clean and then interpret this data to create information. Then finally finding the needle in the hay mining that information. That's often called: analytics.

Access

So many is lost by denying broader stakeholders passage through the data, I accredit a governed democratization of data. I help my customers by bringing integrated strategies where all sides of the business are taken care of.

Govern

Seas of data need a captain to call the shots about how in depth the information is shown. I respect and teach my customers to take the helm of their implementations of technology.

Carrier of journeys

All of my customers can and would eventually cross-paths with me again, I represent myself with professionalism and long lasting relationships.

Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt are the most dangerous blockers of innovation. I stand on executing, implementing, demonstrating, and showing the way of innovation.

Continuous Rebuild

Every now and then I reset my assumptions on how technology impacts the execution of business. I learn and adapt to new technologies as they arise to then provide edge consulting to my customers.

I keep a diary with notes or comments from actual, and past customers & colleagues from our interactions. This is what it takes to rebuild, learn from the past.

Agility

I consider it the secret sauce, how fast can a business evolve either by experimentation or by learning from itself? I help my customers realize agility in all its breadth to empower their mission.

Communication

Not-so-secret, but vital. Collectively we're abandoning crisp, direct and clear communication. I don't. I keep writing my sms' with ortography and punctuation so I'm understood.

Sustainability

I believe in leaving a better place for my descendants, and better relationships for those who will outlive us in the road.
